Kevin Hooker

Kevin Hooker is a pre-licensed therapist with several years of experience currently pursuing licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of Minnesota. He graduated from Liberty University’s Professional Counseling program several years ago and has been working in counseling centers since that time. Kevin states he has had the honor and privilege of working with people from all walks of life. He has enjoyed working with people who have depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, relationship issues, pornography addiction, sex addiction, and sleep issues as well as many other issues. Kevin utilizes a person-centered approach to counseling and customizes every session to the needs and goals of each client. Kevin believes a strengths-based approach works well for most clients and is the most respectful and honoring of each person and their particular situation. Kevin believes people have the strengths they need inside to overcome whatever they are facing. Kevin is passionate about providing a safe, respectful, and warm environment to work through a variety of concerns and begin the healing process in a person-centered way. Kevin believes spirituality is an essential component of who he is, so he practices from a Christian worldview. He believes therapy should be inclusive and enjoys helping clients explore their own spirituality if they desire to do so in a way that is helpful and comfortable for each client. Kevin would be honored to journey with you through your therapeutic process and is currently taking new clients from teenagers 16 years of age to adults of all ages. Kevin practices in person in the Sartell area as well as by telehealth in all areas of Minnesota. Kevin takes most insurance as well as fee for service for those with no insurance.

In Kevin’s spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife and playing video games or chess with friends. Kevin currently has openings and is scheduling appts in January of 2024 so feel free to call today.

Kevin’s favorite bible verse is Corinthians 12: 9-10, which basically says that weakness is something to be delighted in because God becomes our strength through our weakness. We should not be afraid of weakness but embrace it, learn from it, and become the best version of ourselves.

Kevin sees clients Monday through Friday at our Sartell Office. He accepts most major insurance plans. Please call our office to ask about your particular insurance coverage.
