Sara practices from a Christian worldview and believes in the sanctity of every human being, believing that God created each person beautifully and wonderfully. Sara welcomes and respects how clients want to use their relationship with Christ in their healing process.

Sara is eager to work with clients from a wide variety of backgrounds. She is primarily interested in working with couples, families, parent/child relationships, and individuals struggling with relationship issues. Sara sees children and adolescents ages 8-17, as well as families, couples, and individuals facing a wide variety of issues. Her specific interests include working with couples, families, athletes, rural populations, and people struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. Sara has extensive experience working with survivors of domestic abuse, including the children impacted by this trauma. She uses a systemic therapeutic approach in viewing and treating clients within the context of their relationships.

In Sara’s free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, being outside, experimenting with recipes, playing guitar, parallel parking, and trying not to get too heartbroken over the Minnesota Wild.

Sara sees clients at the Sartell Office on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and at the Elk River Office on Tuesdays.
