Hardy & Stephens Counseling Associates, PLLC accepts applications for clinical internship/practicum opportunities every year typically 9 months before a fall or winter start. Students must be in a Masters or PhD program leading to a degree in the mental health field. Our interns are provided with the opportunity to shadow licensed mental health professionals in our outpatient agency. When the student is demonstrating skills to work more independently, they can carry their own caseload providing free counseling services to those in the community who have no insurance or ability to pay for counseling services. Interns receive regular supervision as well as the opportunity to collaborate with our counseling staff in consultation and treatment. Please browse our website for goodness of fit.
