Becca Yager is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) who works with individual adults and adolescents. She is passionate about helping people live life to the fullest. Becca received her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Bethel University and her graduate certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy from Bethel Seminary.
Becca’s therapeutic approach utilizes Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Becca provides more than just talk-therapy; she teaches clients skills they can use to improve their lives and relationships. Becca likes to tell clients about books they can read to improve their lives as well. Becca’s areas of interest include forgiveness, self-esteem, family of origin issues, dating, boundaries, anxiety, OCD, grief and depression. Becca has experience working with women who are in emotionally destructive marriages. Becca specializes in Christian counseling. She is comfortable working with people with a different faith or no faith as well. Becca especially enjoys working with women in their 20s and 30s.
Becca loves being a therapist, as she has the privilege of helping people through tough stuff in their lives, so they can live life to the fullest. She enjoys watching clients gain insight in sessions and feels honored that clients choose to work with her.
