Jill Stephens is a Licensed Psychologist who has worked in the mental health field since 1988. She has clinical experience in outpatient, inpatient and school settings. Jill received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the College of St. Benedict and her Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology from North Dakota State University.

Jill specializes in the treatment of eating disorders. Her philosophy of treatment includes a combination of nutritional, medical, behavioral and emotional management of the eating disorder. Jill also enjoys working with individuals with anxiety, depression and those struggling with chronic health conditions, loss or relationship issues. Jill sees individuals, couples and families. She believes integrating a client’s spirituality into therapy provides the most effective journey towards wellness and she enjoys the opportunity to utilize a faith-based approach to treatment with those individuals who request it. Jill’s therapy style is cognitive-behavioral, with the use of additional theories and approaches, which are individualized based on the needs of her clients.

Jill serves on the board and is a co-founder of the Minnesota Association of Christian Counselors. She believes it is important to “shepherd” the next generation of therapists. Jill is a Board of Behavioral Health certified clinical supervisor and enjoys providing supervision to interns as well as those working towards licensure as an LPC/LPCC.

Jill is not taking NEW clients at this time, only returning clients. She sees clients on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and accepts most major insurance plans.
