Kate Roth

Kate is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. She received her master’s degree from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota in counseling and psychological services and holds a graduate certificate in addiction studies.

Kate uses a variety of therapeutic approaches with clients including cognitive-behavioral, acceptance and commitment, and AIR network model to tailor her therapy to meet clients wherever they are in their healing process without judgment. Kate provides individual therapy to men and women for an assortment of issues including anxiety, depression, adjustment issues, identity issues, relationship issues, self-esteem issues and addiction and recovery issues. She specializes in treating trauma related disorders and is trained in EMDR. She also has experience working with clients struggling with both mental health and substance abuse issues simultaneously and completed her clinical training at Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge.

Kate is passionate about providing a safe, respectful and warm environment to work through a variety of concerns and begin the healing process in a person-centered way. Kate believes spirituality is an essential component of mental health and she practices from a Christian worldview. She believes therapy should be inclusive and enjoys helping clients explore their own spirituality in a way that is judgment free and comfortable for each client. Kate would be honored to journey with you through your therapeutic process. In Kate’s free time she likes to snuggle with her cats, travel with her husband, tend to her garden, try new recipes and spend time with her family.

Kate sees clients Monday – Thursday and via TELEHEALTH ONLY on Tuesday afternoons. She accepts most major insurance plans. Please call our office to schedule an appointment or to ask about your particular insurance coverage.
