Katherine Maguire is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). She received her Masters of Science in Clinical Psychology from the Institute for the Psychological Sciences. She has a heart for helping individuals heal through the counseling process and invites them to learn to live healthy and flourishing lives.
Katherine provides individual therapy to children, adolescents and young adults for a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, adjustment issues, relationships, self-esteem, and Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders. She utilizes Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) with adolescents and young adults, the neurobehavioral approach with clients who have Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders, and a combination of play therapy and CBT with children. As a Catholic, Katherine believes in the dignity of every person, as well as creating treatment goals that strengthen all aspects of a client’s life. She welcomes the opportunity to integrate faith-based approaches with clients who request it.
In her spare time, Katherine enjoys being with family and friends, listening to podcasts, and exploring Minnesota with her husband.
Katherine offers afternoon and evening hours on Wednesdays and Thursdays. She accepts most major insurance plans. Please call our office to schedule an appointment or ask about your particular insurance coverage.
