Marisa Erickson

Marisa is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). She has earned a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Capella University and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Wisconsin River Falls.

Marisa desires to meet clients where they are in their healing process without any judgment. She believes in a total wellness approach and feels clients achieve the most healing when they incorporate their spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical health. Marisa is passionate about working with adolescents and adults on a variety of issues, including depression, anxiety, self-esteem, adjustment to life transitions, and stress management. Marisa enjoys working with her clients using a variety of the following modalities: Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Person-centered, Narrative therapy, Internal Family Systems, Solution-focused therapy, Somatic therapy and Immanuel prayer. She personalizes each approach to the needs of each individual client.

Marisa believes her personal relationship with God guides her in her personal and professional life. She welcomes the opportunity to integrate faith into the counseling process when clients request it. Marisa is offering both telehealth and in-person sessions during daytime and evening hours to accommodate her clients’ scheduling needs.

In her spare time, Marisa enjoys reading, listening to podcasts or music, attending concerts, trying new recipes, and spending time with friends and family. She enjoys working on and riding in her family’s classic Subaru cars. Weekends in the spring and summer are often spent attending local classic and modern car shows.

Marisa sees clients IN PERSON on Mondays and Thursdays. VIA TELEHEALTH Tuesdays and Fridays. She accepts most major insurance plans. Please call our office to ask about your specific insurance coverage.
