Marisa Erickson

Marisa is a psychotherapist completing her state licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). She graduated with her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. Marisa completed her clinical training here at the Center for Hope and Healing.

Marisa is passionate about working with adolescents and adults on a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, self-esteem, adjustment to life transitions, and stress-management. Marisa uses a variety of therapeutic approaches with clients including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, person-centered therapy, solutions focused therapy and she personalizes each approach to the needs of each client.

Marisa desires to meet clients where they are in their healing process without any judgement. She believes in a total wellness approach and feel clients achieve the most healing when they are incorporating their spiritual, emotional, mental and physical health.

Marisa believes her personal relationship with God guides her in her personal and professional life. She welcomes the opportunity to integrate faith into the counseling process when clients request it. Marisa is offering both telehealth and in person sessions daytime and evening hours for her clients scheduling needs.

In her spare time Marisa enjoys reading, listening to podcasts, and spending time with friends and family. She also enjoys performing modifications and repairs on her 2000 Subaru RS car. Weekends in the spring and summer are often spent attending local classic and modern car shows.

Marisa sees clients on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. She accepts most major insurance plans. Please call our office to ask about your specific insurance coverage.
