Rachel is a psychotherapist who earned her master’s degree in counseling at Crown College. She is a pre-licensed clinician pursuing Licensure in the state of Minnesota as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor supervised by Katherine Maguire LPCC. Along with her master’s degree, she has earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology/counseling from Crown College and also completed the Ministry Program at Northwestern College in Roseville. Rachel has had experience working in a variety of settings as well as a long-term substance recovery program helping women overcome addiction and she has extensive experience with adolescents and young adults, believing all have an amazing potential for healing that comes straight from the Creator. Her heart is to help those that have been through and are going through trauma and crisis. She sees clients presenting with a variety of issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, family issues, parenting issues, abuse, loss, church hurt, trauma etc. She especially enjoys helping adolescent girls and women of all ages learn to identify, explain, and regulate their emotions.
Rachel has a heart for the least of these which she believes comes from her heart for Jesus. She wants to help others rise to their potential so they can be the best version of themselves. She loves to work with client’s strengths and especially how people were created whether that be visual, tactile, kinesthetic, or a combination. She believes that each person is different, and she enjoys working with how each person individually learns and heals. She believes it’s an honor to accompany clients on their healing journey and has a warm and welcoming approach to therapy.
Rachel is trained in Flash EMDR and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) for those that are struggling with trauma. Rachel enjoys assisting clients in understanding their emotions, where they come from and exploring how those emotions can be healed through different avenues such as CBT techniques, genograms, art, trauma therapy, emotional intelligence and regulation, solution focused therapy, and, if desired by the client, will integrate faith into her clients’ healing journey.
Rachel has been blessed with many life experiences. She spent the majority of her adult life homeschooling and raising three amazing children, two wonderful stepchildren and now has two incredible in-laws and six beautiful grandchildren. She likes to hike, camp, read, sing, paint and listen to music. She enjoys time with her family when she is not working.

Rachel is scheduling appts on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays and has some evening appt availability. Rachel will accept most insurances as well.
